Description

The Marzano N-400 is built around a straightforward idea: a solid cedar top, solid mahogany back and sides, a 650 mm scale, and nothing decorative getting in the way. It is a working concert guitar, and it behaves like one.

Mahogany is the quietest choice a builder can make for back and sides, and that is meant as a compliment. Where rosewood adds a long, complex tail to every note, mahogany stays out of the way — it pushes the midrange forward and lets the top do the talking.
