How do I know which guitar size is right for me?

A full-size classical guitar, commonly described as 4/4 size, is suitable for most adult players.

Smaller guitars — 3/4, 1/2 and 1/4 sizes — are designed for children, younger players and adults with a smaller reach. Both the body and the scale length are reduced, making the instrument more comfortable to hold and easier to play.

When buying a guitar for a child, please tell us their age and height through our Contact page. We will help you choose an appropriate size.

What is the difference between a cedar and a spruce top?

Cedar tops usually respond immediately. Their sound tends to be warm, open and expressive from the first day, making them particularly suitable for fingerstyle playing and players who value a wide dynamic range.

Spruce tops often take longer to open up. They generally offer greater clarity, projection and definition when played firmly, and their tone can continue developing over months and years.

Neither material is objectively better. The right choice depends on your playing style, preferred sound and technique.

Do you sell guitars for beginners?

Yes. Several models in our range are selected specifically for beginners and developing players.

We describe these instruments clearly in the product information rather than presenting an entry-level guitar as something it is not. A good beginner guitar should be comfortable, properly set up and reliable enough to support progress.

When you are unsure whether a particular model is suitable for a first-time player, please contact us before ordering.

Can I try a guitar before I commit?

We do not currently operate a walk-in showroom. However, our 14-day return period allows you to order a guitar, evaluate it carefully at home and return it if it is not the right instrument for you.

How long does an order take to arrive?

In-stock instruments are normally dispatched within 2 business days after payment confirmation.

Delivery time depends on the destination country and the carrier. Most orders within Germany arrive within approximately 1–3 business days, while deliveries to other European Union countries usually take approximately 3–7 business days after dispatch.

Made-to-order luthier instruments require a longer production period. We will confirm the expected completion and delivery schedule with you before you place the order.

Do you ship outside the European Union?

We ship to all European Union member states as standard.

Shipping outside the European Union may also be available. Please contact us before placing your order so that we can confirm the shipping cost, insurance availability and estimated delivery time.

Customers outside the European Union are responsible for checking and paying any applicable customs duties, import taxes or handling fees charged in their destination country.

What payment methods do you accept?

Available payment methods may vary depending on your country and device. The options available for your order will be displayed securely during checkout.

Payments are processed by authorised payment providers. We do not directly see or store your complete card details.

Do strings and setup come included?

Yes. Every guitar is inspected, fitted with fresh strings and professionally set up before dispatch, regardless of the strings originally installed by the manufacturer.

As part of the preparation process, we check:

• String height and playing comfort
• Neck condition and relief
• Nut and saddle
• Intonation
• Tuning stability
• Frets, machine heads and general condition

Classical guitar intonation cannot be adjusted individually for every string in the same way as on many electric guitars, but we check that the instrument performs correctly across the fingerboard and that the saddle is properly positioned.

Can I request different strings or a particular setup?

Yes. You may request a preferred string brand, tension or setup when placing your order.

Some standard adjustments can be completed at no additional cost. Special strings, unusually low action or more extensive modifications may involve an additional charge. We will always confirm this with you before carrying out the work.

Please include your request in the order notes or contact us before purchasing.

Can I ask for advice before buying?

Yes — and we would rather help you choose carefully than encourage you to buy the wrong instrument.

Through our Contact page, tell us:

• Your current playing level
• The music you play
• Your preferred sound
• Any guitars you have previously used
• Your approximate budget

We will recommend two or three suitable instruments and explain the practical differences between them in straightforward terms.

Are the guitars shown in stock?

Unless a product is clearly marked as made to order, the stock status displayed on the product page indicates whether the instrument is currently available.

Because some guitars are individual instruments rather than identical mass-produced units, photographs may show the exact guitar offered for sale. Where this is the case, it will be stated in the product description.

Will I receive a tracking number?

Yes. As soon as the carrier collects your order, we will send you a shipping confirmation email containing the tracking number and tracking link.

Every guitar shipment is insured for its full purchase value during transport.
