Description
The Casarez SLR-90 uses the pairing that has defined concert-level classical guitars for the better part of a century: a solid cedar top over solid rosewood back and sides. Cedar answers a light touch immediately, and rosewood underneath adds the long sustain and layered overtones that give the instrument its depth in the bass and its ring in sustained chords.
The neck is solid mahogany, keeping weight manageable, and the fingerboard is solid rosewood. Tuners are gold. It is a specification without surprises, built to the standard that most advancing players are already listening for.
Suited to a player stepping up from a student instrument who wants the classic cedar-and-rosewood voice rather than something more unusual.
